Join us on 24th & 25th Feb for the third edition of GraphQL Asia happening online and free! And this time we're accepting talks & workshops in multiple Asian languages.
Speakers
Workshops
All workshops will start at 8 AM IST on 24th Feb
- Server-side Authentication in GraphQLA hands-on workshop about handling authentication and authorization in GraphQL. During this 3 hour workshop you’ll learn how to add authentication to a GraphQL server using JWTs, and handle query responses with user roles. As a bonus we’ll be adding an authentication server with Auth0.Presented by Roy DerksRead More →
- Introduction to HasuraHasura makes developers superhuman and simplifies app development with its open-source real-time API engine to instantly create reusable, real-time GraphQL and REST APIs from your new and existing dataThis 90 minute hands-on workshop will help new users get familiar with Hasura by building a fully functional realtime backend with Hasura.Presented by Praveen DurairajuRead More →
- GraphQL in the JamstackThe adoption rate of the Jamstack is increasing at a tremendous pace. At its core, sites created with the Jamstack utilise static sites generated by various tools. Some of these tools utilise GraphQL heavily from querying metadata to querying dynamic page content. As part of this workshop attendees will have the opportunity to familiarise themselves with Gatsby.js and learn how to build a Jamstack application while leveraging GraphQL and learning about the core pillars of the Jamstack.Presented by Tamas PirosRead More →
- Type-safe GraphQL apps with TypeScriptIn this workshop we’re going to look at how to bring type-safety to our GraphQL apps using TypeScript. For our server, we’ll look at how we can share types between the schema, resolvers and data access layer. Then we’ll take a look at how to share those types across to our client application (we’ll use React in the workshop). It'll be a hands on workshop, so be prepared to get ready to implement your own type safe JavaScript GraphQL application.Presented by Aaron PowellRead More →
- GraphQL on SQL Server with HasuraLearn how to leverage GraphQL while keeping your stack in place with this hands-on workshop demonstrating the new multi-database support in Hasura. This workshop will show how to bring an existing MSSQL database into the Hasura engine and unlock all the benefits of GraphQL and Hasura's business-logic mapping layer. Existing knowledge of MSSQL will be helpful but not required as we'll focus most of our time on bringing the database into Hasura itself and mapping additional logic on top of this powerful stack.Presented by Jesse MartinRead More →
- Building Distributed GraphIn this workshop we will go through building an enterprise-scale unified but distributed data graph. We will use various methodologies and frameworks to build data graph.Presented by Sandipan BiswasRead More →
